Job Summary:

We are a leading refreshment, snack-food and breakroom supply distributor located in Nassau County, Long Island. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth.

We are looking for an experienced and strategic-minded Director of Sales to oversee our sales department and develop effective sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of sales and marketing professionals, establishing sales targets, and fostering strong relationships with key clients. The Director of Sales will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and expanding our customer base.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement sales strategies and objectives in alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives.

· Lead and motivate a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure high performance and achievement of targets.

· Monitor sales metrics, analyze data, and provide regular reports to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.

· Identify new market opportunities and develop innovative sales initiatives to expand the company's customer base and increase market share.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction and retention.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, and finance, to develop integrated strategies and execute sales plans effectively.

· Conduct regular sales meetings, training sessions, and performance evaluations to ensure the sales team is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.

· Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and customer preferences to anticipate opportunities and challenges and make informed business decisions.

· Drive continuous improvement in sales processes, systems, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

· Proven track record of at least 10 solid years in sales management, preferably in the distribution industry or a related field.

· Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies that have resulted in revenue growth and increased market share.

· Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team to achieve ambitious targets.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset.

· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.

· Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales-related tools.

· Proactive and results-oriented mindset with a strong business acumen.
